Sardis Baptist Church

sbc_bldg_small Sardis Baptist Church was established in 1803. We are located in rural Burke County, GA.

We serve in friendly cooperation with the Hephzibah Baptist Association, the Georgia Baptist Convention and the Southern Baptist Convention.

Sardis Baptist Church celebrated its 205th anniversary on Sept. 28, 2008. It is remarkable to consider how many have come to know Christ through the ministry of this church; how many pastors and chaplains have been sent out to minister from this church; how many who were raised in this church have moved on and are faithful in service in other churches. Sardis Baptist indeed has a wonderful legacy and one we should celebrate as God is indeed at work in this people.
